those are some really cool sprites, you really pulled off the 'techno' theme.  good choice of font.

the brick arrangement is interesting - adds a layer of difficulty but not too much. more interesting to look at than traditional brick breaker clones.

the only thing i could critique is the paddle. the behavior of the ball is unpredictable after hitting. the paddle is elliptical but doesn't behave so, quite confusing.
